Lovely antique 9 carat gold rolo link chain dating to the Edwardian era. This medium width chain has a great subtly unique link. They alternate between a very slightly faceted rounded profile link a ridged link also in a rounded profile. Both can be seen in the photos. It fastens with a barrel clasp. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.
There is a tag near the clasp which appears to have a registration number of 402679. If I've read that correctly, this chain dates to 1903. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is warm peachy colour.
Measures 43 cm / 17 inches long, and is 2.8 mm wide.
Weighs 4.1 grams.
