Antique Victorian 9ct gold drop earrings. These long dangle earrings are uniquely designed. At the top is a scalloped edged panel with a three dimension ribbon to the centre and faceted balls on it's curving ends. A long, lean puffed form tapered drop is suspended from the design and terminates in a matching faceted ball. These earrings are articulated at the base of the ear wire and between the two sections of the drops. This allows them to swing gently, catching the light as the wearer moves. Circa late Victorian, 1890 - 1900, British in origin.
Obscured hallmarks to the back. The taper has been re-soldered or re-secured resulting in obscured hallmarks. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.
