Antique 9 carat gold chain necklace. This classic rolo link chain is a very generous 26 inches in length and fastens with a dog clip clasp. The clasp can be worn to the back or to the front to display a pendant. The links are a good size, over 2 mm wide, making this a heavier link chain. At this length and width it be perfectly suited for either men or women. Circa late 19th to early 20th century, British in origin.

Stamped 9c on the dog clip and professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is warm, closer to modern yellow gold in colour.

Measures approx 66 cm / 26 inches in wearable length. The dog clip is 14.8 mm / 0.55 inches in length and does not swivel. Chain is 2.35 mm in width.
