Antique Edwardian 9 carat gold buckle ring. This ring is crafted as a buckle and engraved with a floral design. The flowers and leaf design engraving is all around the exterior with a single row of milgrain beading edging to the top and bottom of the pattern. This band narrows at the back and design fades a bit from wear. Buckles in Victorian times were meant to express a binding love between the giver and receiver. Fully hallmarked, dates to the early 1900s.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter c for 1902.
