Antique 9 carat gold belcher link chain. This chain is formed for simple oval link which have a lovely tactile feel to them, having smooth a bit with age and wear. At one is of the chain length is a simple jump ring and the other is a large gold dog clip. The clip can be worn to the back for a simple look or to the front to display charms and pendants. Circa late 19th century to early 20th century, British in origin.

Stamped 9ct on a tag near the jump ring and 9 . 375 on the dog clip. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures approx 52 cm / 20.5 inches in length by 2.85 mm in width.

Weighs 11.5 grams. This chain has a good weight to it.
