Antique 9ct rose gold trombone & love knot link chain. Oblong oval shaped link alternate with a small set of three links which feature a lover knot. Each end of this chain terminates with a sprung dog clip. The dog clips match and are well sprung. The t-bar is on an oblong link and is able to move the length of that link. This chain is on the shorter side, sitting right below the suprasternal notch at the base of the throat. It can also be doubled to be worn as a bracelet. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.

Hallmarked on the t-bar, no date letter given. Stamped 9 .375 on several links and both dog clips.

Measures approx 42 cm / 16.5 inches in length by 5.65 mm wide. The oblong links are approx 21.8 mm by 5.75 mm.
