Antique curb link chain necklace dating to the early 20th century. This chain is formed of classic curb links, each side graduated in size creating an undulating effect. This double Albert would have originally been worn as a watch chain. At the centre is a t-bar with a large dog clip at each end of the chain. This chain is a nice, versatile length which could be worn with the t-bar to the front as an adornment, dogs clip to the front to secure a pendant, as a watch chain, or a chunky doubled bracelet. Circa early 20th century.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold and stamped 9 . 375 on each link. The gold is rosy in colour.

Measures approx 38 cm / 15 inches end to end. Links graduate between 4.3 mm to 6.4 mm.

Weighs 28.6 grams.
