Antique two-toned engraved wedding ring. This women's wedding band is fully engraved with an orange flower blossom pattern completely around the exterior. The never ending flowers are engraved into a white gold top and the interior of this ring is lined in 22 carat gold. When worn only the floral top shows on the exterior. Two-toned rings are wonderfully rare and I love them, perfection of the way they are pieced together and for this one the heft of the white gold combined with the 22k gold! Circa early 20th century, 1910s.
In good condition with age related wear to the exterior pattern and the internal inscription.
There are remnants of a personal inscription which is very faded due to age and wear. I think it reads, "E. P. ?. to L.E.B. May ? 1916".
Stamped TT COLES 22K. The interior professionally tested and assessed as 22 carat gold with the white part as 18 carat white gold. The TT in a circle is the maker's mark for Traub Manufacturing Co. COLES was also a brand though I'm able to find little out about them or if and how they are connected to Traub.
Size: UK - J; US - 5; EU - 15,6. This ring has a pattern all the way around making unsuitable for resizing.
Measures approx 2.3 mm wide by 2.1 mm deep.
Weighs 3 grams.
