Antique swallow pendant crafted in 15 carat gold. This gold swallow pendant looks as though it's swooping. It's delightfully detailed with careful ridges engraved to resemble feathers. This bird has the sweetest engraved face. Swallows are a common theme in the Victorian era symbolising luck and a safe return home, particularly for those who travel such as sailors. This is such a wonderful piece, simple in design and a good size. This piece dates to the late 19th century.

Stamped 15ct on the back of a wing, professionally tested and assessed at 15 carat gold.
