Antique 15 carat yellow gold split ring. This split ring has been crafted in 15 carat gold and engraved with a spiralling ridged design. The design is a series of parallel lines on outside and side edges of the ring with the inside edge plain and unadorned. The details are crisp and in excellent condition. These handy rings can be used to join chains, watch fobs, and to hang charms from a chain. This split ring dates to the Georgian to Victorian period, circa early to mid 1800s, European in origin. Both sides have been pictured.

Not hallmarked, tested as 15 carat gold.

Measures approx 13.8 mm inside diameter and 17.3 mm outside edge to edge, and is 1.8 mm wide by 1.7 mm thick.

Weighs 1.45 grams.
