Vintage amethyst and diamond ring set in 18 carat gold. A large rectangular, step cut amethyst is set in wider, tab claws. Slightly graduated diamonds are set into the shoulders on a slender gold band. To the interior is a stamp for the maker Bravingtons, a famous maker who was in business during the early 20th to early 21st century. This particular ring is circa mid 20th century, mid 1930s - 1950s.
Amethyst: rectangular in shape, step cut (emerald cut), approx 11.4 mm by 9.35 mm and calculated as 5 carats within the limits of the mounting.
Diamonds: 6, single cut, approx 0.10 carats together, near colourless and eye clean as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold, which is both white and yellow in colour.
Size: UK - P.5; US - 8; EU - 18,1. This ring can be sized between M / 6.25 / 16,7 and U / 10 / 19,8. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 12.1 mm wide by 8.3 mm deep, 2 mm wide band.
