Vintage emerald and diamond ring dating to the mid 20th century. An emerald cut deep green emerald is set in the centre of a round brilliant cut diamond halo. The emerald is bezel / rubover set in a setting which follows it's shape. Sixteen bright and glittering round brilliant cut diamonds are pave set in a frame around the emerald. The gemstones are set in white gold with the undercarriage and band in yellow gold.

The way that the diamonds and emerald are set makes this an easy ring to wear, with no sharp corners or prongs to get caught on clothing or children. It's no wonder this style has always been popular! This particular ring dates to approx the mid 20th century and is European in origin.

Emerald: deep green emerald cut emerald. This emerald is very clear and is a wonderful and is a deep green colour. Emeralds are softer gemstones than diamonds, sapphires, or rubies and need to be treated with care. Measures approx 7 mm by 5.3 mm and 3.78 mm deep, estimated in setting as 1.03 carats.

Diamonds: 16, round brilliants, total approx 0.48 carats, H/I/I colour, SI/P clarity.

Marked 18ct for 18 carat, and tested and assessed as such. The gemstones are set in white gold and the undercarriage and shank are yellow gold.

Size: UK - P; US - 7.75; EU - 17.9. This ring can be sized between N / 6.75 and S / 9.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 13.3 mm by 11.3 mm on the finger and stands 3.9 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 3.4 grams.
