Mid 20th century diamond cluster engagement ring in a daisy flower shape. This ring is designed as a large single floral blossom. Eight diamonds are set into a scalloped edge design around another diamond which is set slightly higher than the others. The beaded design accenting the diamonds gives this cluster a larger look than some of the tighter clusters. Engraved into the shoulders is a further beaded design in the shape of a leaf. The diamonds are set into a platinum top and knife edge band of this ring is 18 carat yellow gold. Circa 1960s, British in origin.
Diamonds: 9, eight cut / single cut, approx 0.18 carats total weight.
Fully hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1960. Also stamped PLAT, the diamonds are set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - M; US -6 1/4; EU - 16.4. This ring can be sized down to J.5 / 5.1 and up to Q / 8.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 10.35 mm wide and stands 4.65 mm tall off the finger.
