This antique daisy cluster diamond engagement ring is stunning! Old mine cut diamonds are pave set in a daisy style antique cluster ring. The outside edges are bezel set giving a smooth, scalloped edge. All of the diamonds are old mine cut and have tiny tables, high crowns, and open culets. The yellow gold setting underneath the diamonds has been pierced which both allows light in and looks decorative. The sparkle coming off this ring is amazing! This ring dates to around the turn of the 20th century and is European in origin.
Diamonds: centre old mine cut calculated in setting as 0.18 carats, 3.6 mm, J colour, I clarity. 8 old cut diamonds, estimated as 0.05 - 0.08 carats each, I to K colour, SI clarity.
Total carat weight: estimated in setting as 0.75.
Hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed Birmingham, dated 1951. This ring has been reshanked in a roseish-yellow.
